A novel by Kemmy Mpinang has been adapted into a movie by BOTSWOOD, a Botswana film company. The novel is about a young woman who lost her mother at the age of 14, started experiencing abuse, thereafter, got married and tolerated abused from her husband, survived an attempted murder by her abusive husband, divorced and got into severe depression which led the to use of substance abuse and multiply attempted suicide. The movie is not shot due to lack of funds.
